The English version of the book will be available in autumn 2012. The translation project has been dormant for several years and was relaunched in autumn 2011. This time the editors are confident that they will finish the project until the announced date.
The English version will be abridged to about 650 pages, printed in just one volume and will be somewhat cheaper than the German version. (The exact price has not yet been settled; customers who already own the German version will get a discount.) Like the German version, the book will be accompanied by a DVD comprising all illustrations, diagrams and photographs in high resolution and colour.
The English version will also aim mostly on technically trained readers, be they novices or experienced reconstructionists. The page layout will be close to that of the German version, i.e. with lots of figures, case file examples and photographs. Dr Richard Lambourn will guarantee that the complete book is written in legible (British) English.
